The construction of the Tunnel that will link the province of San Juan (Argentina) and the region of Coquimbo (Chile) represents a unique opportunity to operate a scientific research center, protected from cosmic radiation by more than 1,700 meters of rock.
The scientific experiments that ANDES will host will allow us to explore hitherto unknown phenomena, with fundamental consequences for the understanding of the Universe, our planet, and the evolution of life.
